Headfirst Baseball has held very successful college camps and showcase events for the last five years. The events have featured many of the top college baseball programs in California and also MLB organizations. The MLK evnet will be held on Monday, Jan. 16th at Cal State East Bay. Space will be very limited!
This is the last chance for recruiters to see players before the high school season and we created this event last year specifically for local players to showcase their skills in front of recruiters and scouts in a smaller, more intimate event. It was a huge success last year for players and recruiters alike and, with our talent level this year, we anticipate a great event!
Colleges and pro scouts will attend the event and coach players in games.

The key for any young (or older!) baseball player’s success is to have fun! Of course, we all have more fun when we are good at something. The Little Rookies will learn the basics of baseball, including the positions, basic strategies, basic mechanics, baseball history and appreciation (including weekly baseball card giveaways!) and much more! We want the combination of playing on their little league team and being a Little Rookie to result in young players falling in love with the game of baseball. The program will be held on Sunday evenings from 4-5pm in the new Headfirst Facility in Pleasanton. The program will run in Jan/Feb. with a start date of January 8th.
AGES: 4+ – 6+
WHAT: General Rules – The game can be very confusing for a beginner so we will teach and reinforce the rules.
Batting – Before Little Rookies can have a “hole” in their swing, they will learn to have a technically sound swing and learn to love hitting!
Throwing – Like batting, the Rookies will learn to throw properly, including having good footwork.
Fielding – We will teach the fundamentals of the infield and outfield, including glove and footwork.
Baserunning – Scoring is obviously an important part of the game so teaching good baserunning strategy from a young age will increase enjoyment of the game.
WHEN: Starts on Sunday, January 8th from 4:00 – 5:00

Headfirst Baseball is excited to announce the opening of the new, HF Bercovich Baseball Acceleration Facility in Pleasanton. The academy will be the home of the Headfirst Gamers and HF Bercovich teams as well as a full time training facility. Headfirst will offer classes and the new ”B.A.T. 6 Tool Development Program”, that is open to all players. We will also offer rentals of cages or entire facility to individuals or teams. The 3000 sq ft. facilty will include two 55ft cages, a pitching tunnel, areas for tee work, J band work, and more!
Cage Rentals: $60 per cage per hour- $100 to rent entire academy per hour
B.A.T. (Baseball Acceleration Training) 6 Tool Development Program: This class will be offered on Sunday evenings. Please see website for more infromation.
