The game of baseball is one where repetition is of paramount importance. Unfortunately, repeating destructive mechanics (either physically in the case of a sore arm, or practically like an incorrect swing that prevents a player from making contact) will hinder progress and enjoyment of the game. Private Instruction provided by Headfirst Baseball has helped young players develop a deep appreciation and enjoyment of the game of baseball. People tend to enjoy what they are good at and Private Instruction helps young players improve their skills, help them to learn in general and help them become confident in their baseball knowledge and skills.

Hitting

Batting Stance –  hand positioning –  foot work – swing mechanics –  situational hitting – three main hitting approaches

Pitching

Mechanical instruction – pitch grips – exploiting hitters – pick off moves -    injury prevention

Defense

 infield – outfield – catching – proper footwork – mechanics of each position

Location- All lessons are held at the Headfirst Indoor Academy at 2552 San Carlos Ave. in Castro Valley
