Playing for Ray and Jeff G. on Berc back then 1980-81 some 100 plus games a summer was quite an experience. We had some very talented teams with the likes of future big leaguers. Maybe some day we can all get together for a little reunion.

I remember when Mr. Luce approached me about playing Bercovich in 1991 & 1992 when I played at St. Joes. I think I would've if my Dad had not passed (ended up playing Amercian Legion in Alameda). I ended up eventually playing with Chris at Seminole in Oklahoma.
Hope you and C Dub are successful in bringing this team back to life!!

Thank you for your encouragement! Please share any stories (however appropriate) about your experiences on Bercovich and/or playing for Coach Luce!

It's nice to see that your organization has decided to carry on the Bercovich name. I was a former player who played for Ray Luce in 1986. I played at Foothill HS in Pleasanton then went on to play at Laney College before my playing days were tragically ended by an accident. Your article is exactly right in stating that Bercovich was the premier place for high school standouts to display their talents and I am glad to see that the name will continue.
